Comments about Pentax Waterproof Infrared Remote Control:

I am using this waterproof remote on my fishing charters. I have the camera mounted on the mast, and when the action heats up... I just push the button and put it in my pocket or setting it down knowing it is not getting messed up.
My customers are so happy to get digital video of all their action.
I reccomend this with the Pentax camera with the GPS.

Focus and shoot. Simple as that.

Took all of 5 seconds to get use to... ie in Continuous mode you press once to start shooting and again to stop (not hold down)... same in Bulb mode. This is a little opposite to wired remotes I have used where you hold the button down.

Has a Fn button that the K-5 does not use... not idea why. No points off for that since I can't think of a use for it.

Just took some nice shots of the Milky Way, 20 seconds exposure, no shake,
