The JVC 3D Display Monitor (46") has a full HD panel with a slim body (39cm) and provides 3D display with the help of JVC's original 3D visual system, which includes an advanced picture engine and 3D decoder circuit. The monitor has an aspect ratio of 16:9 and contrast ratio of Native 2,000:1/Dynamic 10,000:1 for natural 3D reproduction, and can be used in studios, post-production fields, and other diverse areas such as education, medical fields, and science.
The monitor uses Xpol circular polarizing method for natural 3D reproduction, which displays flicker-less images as both left and right-eye images are displayed simultaneously to make it particularly suited for fast-moving images.
The monitor has 2 3D video formats - line-by-line format and side-by-side format. In line-by-line format, left and right images are stored respectively in the even and odd lines of the video signal. In side-by-side format, left and right images are compressed to 1/2 scale in the horizontal direction and stored in the left and right sides of the screen.
The 3 HDMI terminals are compatible with 3D input signals, and a touch sensor panel with key lock function makes the monitor secure. The dynamic backlight is used for illumination to produce bright and high-quality pictures.
