Shure WL93 Omnidirectional Lavalier Condenser Microphone for Wireless Systems, with 4' Cable, Black
The Shure model WL93 Microphones are economical omnidirectional, subminiature, lavalier, condenser microphones designed for general speech applications where a visually unobtrusive microphone is desirable. All WL93 models are supplied with a mounting block with attached tie bar, a sew-on mounting bracket, and an acoustic windscreen to minimize wind noise in outdoor applications. All WL93 models include a cable terminated with a 4-pin mini connector which connects directly to a Shure wireless body-pack transmitter.

We used this microphone for a performance. Both the narrator and singer used this microphone. When the narrator spoke too loudly, the sound was very distorted. This might not be microphone's fault; the distortion could have happened because the mixer was too loud and a plethora of other reasons. For the singer, the sound was terrific.

I am pleased with this microphone. Good omnidirectional pickup and seems durable too. This microphone's predecessor (same model of Shure) had a relatively short lifespan, so I'm hoping to get a bit more out of this one.
