The sound quality was fine but it was so uncomfortable and slipped off of my thin fine hair that I returned the item. It clamped very tightly, giving me a headache, and then slipped off if I tried to adjust it.

These are fine for travel when you want to cancel out most of the noise that is present in a plane from either engines or people.

Comments about Panasonic RP-HC101 Slimz Lightweight Noise Canceling Headphones:
I don't notice any diff when I click on the noise cancleing button but that doesn't mean it's not working.I think they do a great job at canceling noise either way. My phone has five seperate ring tones so if I need to hear the phone I can find one,and vice-versa.I find them a little clumsy because they fold for easy storage and I don't fly.If your going to be taking them off and on alot you may want to try other head-phones.
