The Pearstone USB 2.0 Type A Male to Type A Female Cable (10') is a premium quality cable that extends your existing USB device by 10' (3 m). It meets all specifications of USB 2.0 and is backward compatible with USB 1.1 devices. This premium extension cable supports error-free data transfer rates of up to 480 Mbs.
Braided copper shielding and an aluminum foil wrap protects against electromagnetic and radio interference and ensures a clean signal transfer, even with large files at high speed. The connectors are hot pluggable and install with Plug-and-Play ease.

I use this USB extension cable to extend the range of my laptop with is tethered to my camera when shooting indoor studio shots of my family. Also, this extension cord will extend the range of any two devices connected that use USB connectivity. What else can I say? Works GREAT !

This is allowing me to reach and move comfortably around the subject. It was kinda hard without this trying to hold the Macbook Pro in one arm and the camera in the other.
