I use this USB extension cable to extend the range of my laptop with is tethered to my camera when shooting indoor studio shots of my family. Also, this extension cord will extend the range of any two devices connected that use USB connectivity. What else can I say? Works GREAT !

My workstation is cluttered with USB devices, from keyboard/mouse to MIDI controllers. I needed a way to connect a MIDI keyboard controller further away from my computer, so I purchased this extension cable. Has been working great, no problems at all.

This is allowing me to reach and move comfortably around the subject. It was kinda hard without this trying to hold the Macbook Pro in one arm and the camera in the other. Not to mention to keep the models from giggling cause I looked ridiculous! This has made my tethering photography experience SHINE!
