I bought the cable because I replaced my printer, so a new cable for preventative measure, and for the price, no harm done. Cables haven't changed much over the years.

Does what I need it to. Just make sure you get a length that suits you. Are you gonna get a new desk soon? Think about that. It's annoying to have a bunch if slack that flutters your space. And it's utterly useless to get a cable that's too short. Get the right length for you, and you'll be happy.

I use this cable as a backup for a WI-FI printer in case of any connection problem, though I never have needed it yet. Is simply good to have in case a hard line connection is needed. This one is priced right for the job.
