As someone else has said, creates VERY VERY pronounced lines in 7D video at 24fps. Maybe better at different frame rates, but I use 24fps the most. Works great on my consumer Canon HF100 HD camcorder. The handle makes you smell like you're carrying a tire around with you, very smelly. Also, the sliver metal shoe is screwed on with 3 screwed. All were stripped and could not tighten so the light wiggles around and that noise is picked up by mic. Plus it feels like it's about to fall off. I used hot glue and a tightly wound black rubber band. The battery door is loose and you can see the batteries through the crack. Very poor quality,... HOWEVER... the light output is pretty good. And the dimmer is nice. Bottom line is that it has problems, build very cheaply, and can't be used with any camera. LINES LINES LINES... :(
