With the Pearstone Duo TTL Off-Camera Flash Cord you can set up a single flash for off-camera lighting and retain your entire camera's TTL (through the lens) flash functions. Multiple contact pins support TTL-compatible flashes used with Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm, Pentax and Samsung digital cameras. The off-camera hot shoe can mount to accessory shoes or 1/4"-20 threaded studs on tripods, booms, or light stands.
In Manual mode (non-TTL function) you can use two flashes together, both synchronized with your shutter release to create amazing lighting effects and two-light setups. Each terminal has a hot shoe so you can still keep one flash on the camera while setting up the other flash somewhere else.
This cord measures 33' (10 m), which is ideal for hard wired studio setups, or where more range of motion is required.
Other available lengths are:
Flash units must be compatible with each other (if using two) and with the camera for synchronization to take place. TTL functions work only in single flash setups.
This cord works with flash units from the following manufacturers with cameras listed above: Canon, Nikon, Pentax, Fujifilm, Sunpak, Sigma, Metz, and Samsung.

I wasn't ready to spend the money on pocket wizards, so this is a great solution to remotely trigger your flash. You can even "daisy-chain" multiple chords together to allow more flash units to be used.
The units are mostly consistent - however they do trigger on their own sometimes - but for the money - that does not bother me one bit.
I know some would complain about having cables running from camera to flash to flash, etc., but again, this minor inconvenience does not outweigh the cost effectiveness of this device.

When this works properly it is great. When it doesn't it's no better than a cheap RF trigger. I've been having trouble getting this cord to ETTL sync with my 7D. When it doesn't sync it just fires the flash with no control from the camera. When it does sync you get full control over exposure settings, including HSS. If it worked reliably I'd give 5 stars.

I use this in my small apartment with a Canon 580ex. The results I get are comparable to monolights in a large studio. Moving the speedlight off camera opens up the versatility of placement

The only thing that threw me is that you have to turn your camera on first before you turn on your flash units. If you forget and turn on your flash units first, it won't make a connection. I thought it was broken at first, but it works fine as long as you remember to do that.

Functions as it should. Wish I could've gotten one that has a removable cable.

Flash fired right up. Some of the wireless transmitters are quite expensive and some have reviews which rate them as unreliable. For a small studio set up this was a sure fire way to maintain the TTL functions of the SB 900 for a very low cost.

This is very long. I rather have more than enough length than not enough. I'm thinking one of those power extension cord reel would be a great combo to reel in this 33' cord for stow away.

I use the 580 EX as fill light and master controlling two slave Speedlites as main and background lights. Previously was constrained to use the Master (fill) on the camera. With the Pearstone I have much greater flexibility in locating the fill light.
It is 33 feet long - a bit too much flexability

I use the cord to put my flash on a light stand with an umbrella. It is plenty long (I have yet to fully uncoil it), and does what it promises.

I didn't want to spend the $ on a Pocket wizard kit so, I went with this and 33 feet is plenty most of the time.
Comments about Pearstone Universal Duo TTL Off-Camera Flash Cord (33'):
The cable is really long. I wish there were a 15' one instead. Takes time to coil up without getting tangled. Takes up a fair amount of space when coiled.
Flash exposure was controlled correctly via the cable - from my Rebel XTi to my 550EX.
The threads on the bottom of the unit on the far end of the cable fit my tripods.
