Works great with my DSLR camera. Use it to run audio into the camera from my shotgun mic. Used it a bunch and no complaints so far.

I bought this cable to keep the stress on the connector to a minimum. The right-angled mini-plug stays out of the way better and (hopefully) won't get bumped as often.

This XVM-102F Angled 3.5mm to 3-Pin XLR Female Microphone cable. Aloud me to connect my Rode NT3 condenser microphone to connect to my laptop microphone input. This particular microphone need a phantom power but is also powered by 9V battery. And this microphone work better then laptop internal microphone.

Comments about Hosa Technology XVM-102F Angled 3.5mm to 3-Pin XLR Female Microphone Cable (2'):
Feeds output of mono mic to stereo input on camcorder, evenly splitting the mono signal between the two stereo sides.
Looked a long time for this one, as most cables available feed the mono to only one side of the input on camcorder.
Had no use for the 15 foot cable that came with microphone.
This one is the perfect length.
