The Bebob Engineering LUX LED4 Kit with Panasonic CGA Battery Mount is based on an energy-efficient LED light with just 4W power consumption. The kit includes the STA-CGA adaptor that works with Panasonic MiniHD camcorders powered by CGA batteries designed for stand-adaptors.
Once the LED light kit is fitted to a compatible camcorder using the standard shoe horn mounting, the STA-CGA adaptor is loaded with suitable Panasonic CGA batteries. The provided D-Tap cable allows the batteries to power both the camera and the on-camera light. The 4W LED light has a built-in dimmer to control light intensity, as well as a focus slide mechanism that controls the illumination angle between 40 - 60°. The energy-efficient light can be used with optional detachable 2-leaf or 4-leaf barndoors to adjust light spill and focus.
