Comments about Sony WAHT-SA20 S-AIR Wireless Rear Amplifier:
This unit is required to make the S-Air wireless. But you still have to use wires on the rear speakers even with this. What it does is allow you to put this unit across the room from the main unit without wires hence the wireless connection. The WAHT SA20 has to be plugged in to work and the speakers must be plugged into the unit. A disappointment and rip-off IMO. Sony missed the boat on this one.

Comments about Sony WAHT-SA20 S-AIR Wireless Rear Amplifier:
If you want your rear wireless speakers to work, you will most likely need to purchase this amp. I know it says wireless but you still have to connect your rear speakers to this unit. Also buy S -AIR wireless card for your main front unit. It worked straight from box, no problems so far.

I got this amp to get rid of all the wires wrapping around my room. It worked just like it was advertised. It's the first time I ever used one of these and as far as I'm concerned, it is working just fine.

Simple setup, pretty much install wireless module, connect speakers and power up. Depends on having wireless module in main unit too so that should be understood before purchasing this item.

Comments about Sony WAHT-SA20 S-AIR Wireless Rear Amplifier:
I use this product with my new SONY home theatre system HT-SS370(5.1 amp) for the rear surround speaker to prevent wires going across the room from the TV side to the rear surround speaker. Sound clearity was same in the rear surround speakers connected to WAHT-SA20; as directly connected with wire to the 5.1 amplifier.
