The Modex Broadband from RPG Diffusor Systems is a metal plate absorber designed to complement the original Modex Plate. The Modex Broadband offers effective absorption from 50Hz to 5kHz. The plate was developed by the Institute for Building Physics at the Fraunhofer Institute. It consists of a metal plate embedded between 2 layers of damping material, which are surrounded by a perforated metal frame. The plate is only 4" thick, offering an incredible performance in a slim design. The plate has an attractive and durable powder-coat finish, and can be mounted on walls or ceilings.
