Pearstone's 4 AA NiMH Batteries with 30 Minute Charger comes with a set of 4 AA NiMH batteries, and it can also be used to charge NiCad/NiMH AAA batteries. The cradle accepts up to 4 batteries, for a charging cycle that lasts 30 minutes, regardless of the number of batteries being charged.
The included, long-lasting, rechargeable and reliable batteries can be used at home or on the road. The handy charging unit is small and lightweight. Best of all, the unit is dual voltage making it the perfect tool to be taken on a long international journey (requires optional plug adapter).
Both charging channels are individually monitored by LEDs that will always let you know when your batteries are charged. In addition, the auto cut-off system prevents overcharging or potential damage to the system.
Note! Actual charge time may vary depending on cell's discharge level, capacity and condition. Longer times may occur when charger is used in temperatures above 95°F (35°C)

Comments about Pearstone NM-30H26 4 AA NiMH Batteries with 30 Minute Charger (2600mAh,110-240V):
I use the charger regularly for lots of AA batteries. It averages about 30 minutes to charge 4 batteries. It has a small fan (like a CPU fan) that cools it and the batteries. The batteries are not what I would call hot during/after charging. The fan does make some noise, but it's worth it for the savings of time.
The batteries that come with it are "slightly" larger than regular batteries, but I haven't had a problem with them not fitting into my equipment. The batteries power my equipment longer than other NiMH's I've owned.
It has a wall wart power supply.
I have some NiMH batteries that have been around a long time. This charger has rejected a few of them (the red light flashes instead of turning green). By accident, I discovered that they will charge if put in the charger with a "good" battery. I did throw some of the "bad" ones away before I discovered this. And maybe it's just a fluke that this happened?

The charger fan makes some noise, but only while charging. And it really does take 30 minutes or less plugged into a wall outlet.
Comes with a cable for charging while you drive.
Batteries are fatter than most. They stuck in my SB-700 in such a way that they did not always make contact with the battery door. Solution: a fine film of beeswax on the barrels of the batteries.

Traded these for 2900 30-minute charger which didn't last for more than a few months. Hope they fare better. They handled the first few days of charging well--charged and recharged quickly. Hope it lasts! One star down for uncertain future...

The charger does take about 30 minutes from dead batteries, which is much better than a lot of chargers. As long as you ensure you have a half hour before you need the batteries it's great.

I used my rechargeble battery and a 30-minutes charger with the surge protector would be the best. I used by rechargble batteries in my small electronic devices at home. this battery charger does has a cigarette plug so you can recharge the batteries in ANY car that has their cigarette jack for up to 30-minutes is about the same. you can order ANY bigger solar penal as either 1 by using a monocrystalline solar penal or an amorphous salor penal so you can find them at [@], other internet that sell their both of these solar penal as no matter how big as they are but an amorphous solar penal that I have at home is 12"x12" is very old is about same size as the floor tile is NOT big enough for this charger with the battery. it's would be better to buy ANY bigger of the both solar penal that makes alot of solar electricity from a sun for to recharge the battery from a sun with no DC to AC convertor for a smaller solar penal that is about the size of the a kitchen cabinet's doors or a little bit bigger then my very old 12"x12" amorphous solar penal becuase it's doesn't need that much electricity with ANY replacement cigarette jack as the outlet for the car from ANY autom supply store. if you have alot a bigger size of solar penals so you can using a DC to AC 120volts convertor, also it's will recharge the batteries automatically as the MUCH the same way as ANY kind of a deep cycle rechargeble batteries as when ever you need electricity for anything that need electricity for ANY cloudy day as the thunderstorm, even for the night time does.

Comments about Pearstone NM-30H26 4 AA NiMH Batteries with 30 Minute Charger (2600mAh,110-240V):
It took it a bit longer than 30 mins for the first charge (approx.45) but it's still pretty fast. Batteries do not heat up too much as described in other reviews. It'd be better if it could be plugged directly on to the wall rather than having a separate adapter.

Comments about Pearstone NM-30H26 4 AA NiMH Batteries with 30 Minute Charger (2600mAh,110-240V):
I love this 30 minute charger, I have not seen faster charger and batteries than this one, you can charge more batteries in no time. The batteries get very hot and some of them starts to peel off because of the temperature. As long as it works, it's fine with me, the performance is great for weddings. I use them for weddings most of the time. 8 out of 27 batteries went bad in less than a year and 1 out of 3 30 minute charger went bad also, that doesn't mean the product is bad. I've got them replaced at no charge. The new batteries were 2600ma instead of 2900ma, I bet they improve the product by lowering the amps. The performance is still the same.
