GearNex with 150mm Tripod Base Package (Black)

The GearNex with 150mm Tripod Base Package (Black) is an easy-to-use geared head with precision balanced and hardened drive shafts. Designed for both amateur and experienced filmmakers, the GearNex has a reversible pan wheel transmission, making it usable by both right- and left-handed operators. In this package, the 150mm ball mount attached to the GearNex pan base is compatible with many popular tripods.

The GearNex features 2-speed pan and tilt gearboxes driven by 2 (6") hand wheels, which come with rotating handles and captive lockdowns. The 2-speed transmission helps to adjust the degree of camera movement per turn of each wheel, giving greater control over camera movement. The pan transmission includes a neutral mode to allow free spin movement for rapid panning. The tilt plate degree markers and centerline gauge provide the operator with information on camera movements. Conveniently placed pan and tilt brakes help to lock the camera at any given setting.

Capable of operating with a recommended load of 50 lbs, the GearNex head has several mounting holes in standard sizes to fit almost any accessory required during a shoot. The operator can use the LED pointer in the practice kit and chart to simulate camera line of sight, learn complex camera movements, and become familiar with the different features. A cleaning and maintenance tool kit allows the user to keep the American-built geared head in good operational condition.
