The GearNex with 100/150/Mitchell/Riser Package (Black) is an easy-to-use geared head with precision balanced and hardened drive shafts. Designed for both amateur and experienced filmmakers, the GearNex has a reversible pan wheel transmission, making it usable by both right- and left-handed operators. This package includes two ball mounts (100 and 150 mm), a Mitchell mount, and a riser mount for elevation, providing the flexibility of using the GearNex with almost any tripod model.
The GearNex features 2-speed pan and tilt gearboxes driven by 2 (6") hand wheels, which come with rotating handles and captive lockdowns. The 2-speed transmission helps to adjust the degree of camera movement per turn of each wheel, giving greater control over camera movement. The pan transmission includes a neutral mode to allow free spin movement for rapid panning. The tilt plate degree markers and centerline gauge provide the operator with information on camera movements. Conveniently placed pan and tilt brakes help to lock the camera at any given setting.
Capable of operating with a recommended load of 50 lbs, the GearNex head has several mounting holes in standard sizes to fit almost any accessory required during a shoot. The operator can use the practice kit to learn complex camera movements and become familiar with the different features. A cleaning and maintenance tool kit allows the user to keep this American-built geared head in good operational condition.

- Neutral transmission setting for panning allows free wheel movement
- Pan and tilt brakes used to fix camera position or allow only one motion (pan or tilt)
- Practice kit includes LED pointer to simulate camera line of sight and practice chart with markings to perform various camera movements
- Cleaning and maintenance kit contains all tools required for basic cleaning, servicing, and troubleshooting
- Multiple accessory mounts with standard 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 holes
- Maximum load 75 lbs (34 kg); Recommended load 50 lbs (22.7 kg)
- Anti-slip pads for securely mounting a camera on the tilt plate
- Spring loaded 3/8 lock down with user-friendly leverage knob
