Technical Pro U-PLAY Rackmount Digital Audio Player
The U-PLAY from Technical Pro is a rackmount stereo audio player that offers a full set of features at a bargain price. The player has a slim 1RU chassis that fits in any standard equipment rack. It has USB and SD card inputs, allowing you to play audio directly from USB thumb drives (Up to 8GB) or SD flash memory cards (Up to 4GB). Output is via a stereo RCA output for wide compatibility with a variety of audio systems.
The U-PLAY offers a full complement of playback controls, including play/pause, stop, next/previous track, rewind, fast forward, and volume control. Repeat Track and Repeat All functions make it easy to loop playback, ideal for use in retail venues. The player also has 6 preset EQ modes, letting you match the particular style of music you're playing for top-notch results.

I am just using it for a few days. But it is doing exactly what I need it to do. I use it for music on hold. It is connected to our phone system with the headphone jack. I have it on a time clock which turns it on in the AM and shuts it off when we leave. I have a 8GB stick with over 20 cd's that plays continuously.

A good digital player. Easy to hook up. My only complaint is of the owners manual. It could be improved - especially in the area of the built in equalization feature. For the price, you can't beat it.

it's performing great. simple and easy to understand. it tied in to the sound board easily and takes little or no training to operate.

This unit does the job. We're using it for our music on hold connected to our Cisco VOIP system, playing mp3s on an SD card purchased from a royalty-free music site. There is no display on the unit to tell you what it's doing, so in that regard it's lack-luster. However, if you just plug it in and turn it on, it seems to play all the songs on the memory card in sequence and then just re-starts from the first track when it hits the last track. This is perfect for our needs.
