Billingham 307 Camera Bag (Khaki with Chocolate Leather Trim)
The Billingham 307 Camera Bag (Khaki with Chocolate Leather Trim) is a PressTop bag that provides easy access to the camera equipment and accessories while on the move; through a cavernous, zippered opening. The bag is made from waterproofed FiberNyte that is bonded to polyester lining using StormBlock butyl rubber. It has leather trim and a padded interior. Superflex partition system dividers are included. There is a two-piece lid design with a central, double-layered, waterproof seam. The quick release system opening uses top grain leather tabs with cut-outs in the straps that engage with the solid brass ClogBalls for fast opening with positive and secure closure.
The 307 bag has a rain flap that has the twin benefits of being functional while maintaining the bag's clean lines. There are 2 front pockets under the rain flap and a full-width rear zippered pocket that is protected from the weather by an extension of the main rain flap. A security label incorporates a micro laser engraved Mylar security strip which is proof that the bag is a genuine Billingham. The bad is carried by grab handles with a press stud leather grip and an attached, adjustable, inverted Y' shaped Delta shoulder sling with an SP50 shoulder pad. The shoulder sling's fixing points prevent the tipping and rolling motion when the bag is fully loaded. There are 4 sets of discrete 'D' holes; two sets on front and back for optional tripod straps that can be threaded, plus they can act as lower mounting points for the attachment of the optional 5-point back pack harness.

I wish to buy a camera bag that could last me for 20+ years, hence I have conclude it must has following features;
good size for a pro DLSR body and room to fit 2 prime lens and 1 tele lens + flash
can fit a ipad or netbook
good weather proof
good internal padding
good quality of stitching with leather
good shoulder padding
classic looking
Not made in china
and this bag has it all.
I just absolutely love this bag.

Don't be fooled by its original design ... the new 307 series arrived to me with many surprises. The new fabric or canvas ... i accidentally spilled water on and it all just bounced right off.
The bag is light relative to other bags with the same size. The shoulder pad comes in the package and there's also a grabber inside and outside which can be removed if not used.
After zipping open the bag, carbon fibre wands makes a wide rectangular frame which holds the bag open and keeping the zipper out of the way.
Absolutely a serious photographers companion.

Amazing work put into every spect of this bag. The Y shaped Sling makes carrying this bag a real pleasure. The most important feature of this bag as far as I concern is the "press top" opening, as a proud owner of several Lowe bags, there's always something between you and your equipment, this is not the case here.
When purchasing this bag, one should consider extra inserts by Billingham, a little pricy but worthy every penny.
