The Delkin Snug-It Pro Skin (Black) provides complete protection for a Canon EOS Rebel T2i digital SLR camera. The heavy-duty skin is custom molded for a glove-like fit. The thick skin provides added protection, and ridges molded into the skin allow for a better grip. All controls are molded over and around to maintain all functions. The skin is perfectly molded around the lens mount to provide the maximum amount of coverage while still allowing for quick lens changes. It is made from powder-infused silicone that provides a smooth rather than tacky feel and won't collect lint or debris. There is a hard plastic cover that protects the LCD against damage.

This is a good addition to you Canon T2i. I thought it would feel sticky or like rubber to hold but I was surprised to find it feels like powder. Very nice. One down side was mine came with no instructions in the box. Not hard to figure out what to do with it but just expected the normal directions to install. Only other slight disadvantage is that the side compartment where the HDMI, USB and all inputs are is a little harder to get into. The bottom should work well with any battery grip or tripod. Al in all I would buy this again and will buy one for my next camera.

I bought the Delkin skin for my Canon T2i based on other reviews. It was easy to install, but I found it made the camera too bulky. I do not have very large hands, and it may be better for someone who does. And while the skin has markings for most all of the camera functions, they are not as distinct as the ones on the camera itself, so it is a bit hard to figure out which button is which. [...] I think it is a quality product for someone who needs the extra size/bulk, but I prefer the fit and feel of my camera without it.

Does just what it says it will. It took a day or two to get used to the feel, but it is a great product and fits well.

Comments about Delkin Devices Snug-It Pro Skin:
I often need to work in poor conditions. This product makes me feel more comfortable using my camera when it is nasty out. If it is dust, drizzle, or sea spray I feel that my camera is better protected with this skin on. I don't think it is too bulky. If you don't shoot in nasty weather conditions, I don't think that this is necessary.

a good product but,
no instructions at all - still can't figure out what to do with the clear sheet of thin flexible plastic
plastic LCD protector is not attached to the Snug-It skin
slightly interferes with changing lenses
no problems with operating any buttons, dials, etc.

The moment i put this on my T2i i knew i should have bought it with the camera on day 1. It fits like a glove, feels great, and comes with both a hard plastic cover to cover your LCD screen and a perfectly pre-sized anti-scratch protector for your LCD screen.

This is a must have for any nice SLR camera, the quality of this skin is amazing, I would never have another camera without a skin like this. Controls work perfectly with the skin on. Only drawback is getting the lens cap of the body, but it's not a big deal at all.

Love it!
Couldn't stand letting my camera get scratched or dinged, had to have camera armour for it. Fits well, and can even (mostly) work with the BG-E8 battery grip. Hair sticks to it, and stuff does get under the screen protector, so i recommend one that sticks to just the screen itself additionally.
Sometimes can be annoying with changing lenses, which i do often, but for me the extra second or two are very well worth the protection given.

Comments about Delkin Devices Snug-It Pro Skin:
This is a simple yet effective piece of equipment that gives its user some sense of relief. While its neither thick enough to protect your camera from a bonehead drop or thin enough to forget its there; all in all it should protect against minor bumps and scraps. My only complaint is that the fitting around the lens is too tight. If you have a lens with a wide base (such as the Sigma 30mm) then it's a pain in the rear to get this thing to fit properly. However I have not had this issue with my canon 50mm, so maybe it's just a third party lens issue. Regardless I'm glad I picked this up and the screen protector was an unexpected bonus.

Comments about Delkin Devices Snug-It Pro Skin:
I really love the way this feel on my T2i. Honestly, the T2i feels like cheap plastic (great camera, but almost feels like a toy.) This skin makes it feel bulkier and more professional, and I feel better about the camera being protected when it's on. I also just love the slick, nice feel in my hand.
That said, it's not a good choice if you change lenses often as you have to hold back the edges while you change the lens so the rubber doesn't get pinched. Also, it partially covers the AF and stabilizer on/off buttons. Not a deal breaker, but irritating.
I also have to sort of peel back the rubber on the bottom to fit it around the plate for my tripod. Again, not a deal breaker, but really irritating.
The deal breaker for me, and the reason I'm going to resell it, is twofold. First, I simply can't manage the half down position of the button to auto focus. In still or video mode, I end up taking ten pictures while trying to focus. Second, I simply can't see the markings. If they were printed in white, or if I knew the functions well enough to make changes without needing to see the labels, that would be fine, but every time I need to use any of the buttons, I have to get the camera in just the right light and squint to read the button labels.

Comments about Delkin Devices Snug-It Pro Skin:
It was very easy to put it on the camera, it snugs it perfectly. It not only protects my camera from the heavy use, but it also gives a great grip. Most of the pictures I take are outdoors and the pro skin prevents it from getting damaged from cold or dirt. Now I don't have to worry about where I lay my camera.
It has all the labels that you need to operate your camera, but it is hard to read if you are trying to read at night.

Comments about Delkin Devices Snug-It Pro Skin:
This is a must have to protect your Rebel. The plastic body of a Rebel doesn't handle field work like the magnesium models of the professional models, but this is a great substitute. Its a great fit for people who need a more solid and larger grip on their Rebels, but it does add a small amount of bulk to those with smaller hands. Also, learn the button layout of your camera because the black on black labeling can be a bit hard to read. If you have a battery grip, then you will need to trim this a bit to accomodate, but its not hard to do. All in all a great product.

Fits like a glove! I feel 100x better now that I have this around my camera. It fits just like a silicone cover you would have molded around a cell phone. Everything is still properly labeled and easy to navigate.

Comments about Delkin Devices Snug-It Pro Skin:
I've just had the skin for a week with my new T2i and have found it to be a relatively well made product that performs as it says. The powder coating does keep lint and hair off (or is easily removed when it gets on).
My only wish is that the skin were even tighter. I realize that this would make taking it on and off much more difficult - and so it's a somewhat realistic wish, but it feels a little more saggy in places than would have been ideal.
We'll see how it performs over the life of the camera, but I'd buy this again and recommend it to friends.

Comments about Delkin Devices Snug-It Pro Skin:
I feel better knowing this thing is wrapped around my camera body, and as I'm notoriously clumsy, so does my husband.
Things I like about it:
It's grippy, but not sticky. The powder-infused silicone has a nice texture and the skin itself has some grip texture where I need it.
The plastic LCD cover fits well if you get it in the right way.
The buttons are marked with debossed labels, which won't wear down like printed labels.
The card and battery are easy to access.
Things I don't like:
The top part by the flash is a little weird and floppy, but I guess it must be there for a reason.
The debossed labels on the buttons are hard to see at night, so those of us who haven't fully familiarized ourselves with the camera might need to study them before the lights go out.

Comments about Delkin Devices Snug-It Pro Skin:
I have had the Snug-it ProSkin for about 2 weeks and overall I'm very happy with it. You have to place the lense protector right in its own frame on the Pro-skin. It stays in place. Had to cut a strip off covering the audio/video ports on the side. This will really help protect your camera and keep it clean. Other than no directions, its a great product!

Good protection - Wish the cover on the shutter release was a little thinner so it was more sensitive. The Screen protector does not fit firmly - I can see that getting lost easily. Wish the screen hood was compatible with the skin. Lens changes are a little clumsy.
