The all-aluminum VariZoom VZ-TP1568 Lightweight Photo Tripod/Head Combo has a total weight of 5.6 lb (2.5 kg) and will support your camera equipment weighing up to 15 lb (6.8 kg). It extends to a maximum working height of 67.5" (171.5cm) and folds down to only 26" (66cm) for storage.
The VZ-TP1568 comes with a removable platform head with dual twist-lock handles. One handle is for panning and tilts; one adjusts for horizontal and vertical orientation. It also comes with a quick release plate for fast and easy removal and replacement of your camera to the tripod.
A sliding center column with a friction lock enables low shooting down to 10" (25.4cm) which comes in handy for close-up and macro photography. Other features that round out this tripod's functionality include a 3-axis bubble level to keep your camera on a level plane, fixed rubber feet for added stability, and comfortable foam grips on the legs to protect your hands while you are moving it around.
- This rugged aluminum tripod will support your camera and lenses, camcorder or spotting scope weighing up to 15 lb (6.8 kg).
- The included platform head has independent pan and tilt controls.
