This Comprehensive Scope 2 W/Dual Viewing Head from Ken-A-Vision is part of the Comprehensive Microscope series, offering a modern, modular microscope line with superior image quality, as well as 2 eyepieces for 2 simultaneous viewers, a built-in flip-up handle for easy carrying, ergonomic focus knobs for comfort, and built-in power cord storage. There are 14 configuration possibilities, including 5 optional heads, 2 stages, and (with the 4-hole reversed nosepiece), the option of adding a 100x objective lens. Plus, you have the option of corded or cordless. So, you could start with a base model with a monocular head and standard stage, and later upgrade it with a Seidentöpf binocular digital head and a mechanical stage--making this one very versatile microscope.

Rechargeable NiMH batteries: recharge in 8 hours, last up to 40 hours.
Die-cast aluminum body; "Y" shape base for ideal research application; anti-microbial coating.
Monocular view with 30° angle 360° rotation--with 2 attached eyepieces comfortable for 2 student or teacher viewing.

Reversed 4-hole nosepiece with 4-position ball bearing action stop, 360 full rotation.
Fixed plain stage--4.72 x 4.72 x 0.27" (12 x 12 x 0.7 cm) modular attachment to frame, 2 spring-loaded clips for slides.
