We use this on our patio. Connects to stereo, TV, anything with a basic mini-plug audio output. Sound is smooth and clear, especially considering the deisgn concept. Pleasantly surprised...very happy with it.

I used 2 speakers on my deck for my birthday party. When I tried them out the sound was good but when only a few people were on the deck you could hardly hear it. I had the volume up all the way. I trying to figure out what to do about this.

Comments about Acoustic Research AW827 Wireless Post Topper Lantern-Style Indoor/Outdoor Speaker:
"It's a piece of Junk" I received the speaker and when I set it up it sounded great, but when I took the speaker out by the pool the sound decreased. You had to stand right next to it if you wanted to hear it. I repacked it and sent it back.
