Trendnet TPL-303E2K 200Mbps Powerline AV Adapter Kit
The TPL-303E2K 200Mbps Powerline AV Adapter Kit from Trendnet is an ingenious, elegant way of distributing wired Ethernet Internet access via power outlets on a building's electrical system. This kit features two Powerline AV Adapters that each have one 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port and that have power prongs for fitting into your wall socket. Each features data transfer speeds of up to 200 Mbps.* In order to distribute Internet access, you should plug one adapter into an outlet and connect it via an Ethernet cable to the Ethernet WAN Port of your modem or an Ethernet LAN port on your router. Take the other adapter and plug it into the room where you want to connect an Ethernet-enabled computer or other device to the Internet. Thereafter, connect that adapter to your computer or device and hit the adapter's one-touch button for Internet access. While this kit includes two adapters, you can use up to eight on any one electrical system in a building. If you have a room that has difficulties receiving wireless Internet access or if you want to minimize the clutter of wires, grab this handy little kit.

The TrendNet device is easy to use and cost a lot less than some of the other units out there. In fact I had purchased a competitors device but had to return it, I had not bought the kit so I had to get the full set. As I reached to get the right box, I noticed the TrendNet at $40 less. The unit installed quickly and easily. I got great performance from my internet speed tests and computer to computer data transfers. Things have been fantastic and trouble free.
