The Element Technica IDX Battery Plate - Hard Mount is a battery charging plate that allows the use of both IDX and RED batteries on the RED camera, replacing the standard RED battery plate. Offering independently fused LEMO and single D-Tap accessory power, this hard mount unit contains 1/4"-20 threaded holes that can be used to mount the plate to an Element or RED top bracket or universal mount, Element Cheeseplate, or any other 1/4"-20 threaded accessory with proper spacing.
Note that, while all IDX batteries are compatible with this plate, only IDX Elite batteries will pass along battery data to the monitor.
Note! In order to use this plate, you will need to purchase a cable appropriate to the battery you are planning on using.
