Great batt for the price. It's half the price of the 160, but about 75% the kWh.

Comments about Anton Bauer Dionic-HCX Li-ion Battery (120WH/14.4V):

I own a video/film and digital media company and have been around the production world for a number of years. Yes, I do remember the ultra portable one inch video tape machine.
Having a need to replace my current Hytron 140 batteries I jumped at the chance to try these Dionic-HCX batteries. I have been amazed at the weight reduction and the absolute power of these batteries. I recommend these batteries to everyone I meet. And then to add that I can fly commercial with these bad boys is even better.

Comments about Anton Bauer Dionic-HCX Li-ion Battery (120WH/14.4V):

Went from Hytron 140 to HCX for the lighter weight. Much less back fatigue when shooting all day. Use with full size 20W Sony camcorder with 20W light - time remaining readout display on the battery is very accurate, best so far. Voltage (on camera light brightness) seems higher as battery gets low (30%-10%) compared to Hyton 140 at same remaining percentage level. True 120WH. Battery case appears and feels cheap compared to previous AB brick batteries but has held up perfectly in 6 months of use. Note: I own two, one would not accept a charge after the first few charges, sent to AB, fixed and back within a week, works perfectly now. Also, AB will only ground ship this product per current LI battery shipping laws.

This battery is the most valuable tool in my bag. I have two other Dionic 90 Lithium Ion batteries but this one gives me the security I need when I'm out shooting stories all day.

Comments about Anton Bauer Dionic-HCX Li-ion Battery (120WH/14.4V):

After using the Chinese made Li Ion knockoff camera batteries a try for a couple of years I decided to give the Anton Bauer Dionic HCX batteries a try.
I found the Chinese knockoff chargers less than reliable and the new Anton Bauer HCX series batteries and chargers much more dependable. The cases and voltage capacity readouts are far superior. I'm first using them on location with an HDX-900 and they seem to be performing well. The only drawback is the price is 30-40% higher than the knockoffs. But you certainly get what you pay for.
