The Link Electronics Remote Control Panel for 16 x 16 Router with AFV enables remote control of a 860-XL161B router over a LAN connection. By offering Ethernet in addition to RS232 control, this control panel frees up the RS232 port for other uses and also eliminates the isolation problem which, in a multi-panel RS232 control setup, can cause all panels to lock up if a single panel fails.
This control panel incorporates an XY backlit button system as a way of indicating the corresponding input for a selected output. All XY panels also support AFV (Audio Follow Video) and Audio Breakaway selection which indicate audio input and output connections via steady or flashing buttons.
Available in "E" or "V" Type Configurations
Link offers these CP's in a variety of configurations. Listed below are the two basic types of pushbutton switches:
"E" Type employ individually rear lit elastomeric switches with excellent tactile feel and high reliability gold contacts. These are the most popular and most cost effective type of button-per-source remote control panel.
"V" Type panels use the same industry-standard Veetronix re-legend-able switches found on the top-of-the-line production switchers.
