The HDHome S2 HD Multimedia Home Server from MvixUSA is a versatile home theater PC (HTPC) that allows for a convergence across high definition home entertainment, gaming and home computing into a single, compact unit along with storage space for HD media files.
The HDHome is ideal for movie aficionados and multi-taskers, leveraging the Windows 7 Media Center platform to deliver a simplified user interface along with an array of networked sharing options. Browse thousands of internet TV stations, watch Netflix, Hulu and easily share media across the home network. HDHome also works as a universal platform for PC-based gaming and multi-player online games.
There's also an embedded slot-loading Blu-ray disc player with PowerDVD for a complete HD entertainment experience. With the integrated TV tuner, you can watch, pause, and record a live TV program. The HDHome also offers expandable storage capacity with two RAID-enabled, hot-swappable HDD bays for storage of digital media and documents. It also features embedded wireless capability, an HDMI out, optical audio out, and a TV tuner -- allowing for true multi-tasking and HD entertainment in your very own living room.
