The HFI-2400 headphones from Ultrasone provide crystal clear audio in a compact and comfortable package. The open-back design provides a high degree of naturalness and realism, ideal for tracking, monitoring and mixing, as well as home theater applications. Highly-efficient gold-plated 40mm drivers put you right into the middle of your audio experience.
The headphones feature S-Logic Natural Surround Sound, which provides a realistic, spacial audio soundstage that makes direction and distance easier to perceive for a more lifelike experience. This technology also creates a reduction of sound pressure levels, giving you the same perceived loudness at lower volumes, which may help to reduce the risk of hearing damage.
In addition to being able to listen at safer volume levels, the HFI-2400 offers reduced electromagnetic emissions. The ULE technology uses an MU metal bufferboard to reduce radiation by up to 98% compared to standard headphones. For professionals who spend a lot of time wearing headphones, this is a fantastic feature.
The headphones have a folding design for convenient storage in the included velvet carrying bag. The earcups have a swivel mechanism for single-ear monitoring. The soft ear cushions keep you comfortable and are detachable for easy replacement. The single-sided cable is also detachable and features a gold-plated 1/4" plug for connecting to professional audio equipment. A demo CD is also included to illustrate the sophisticated capabilities of your headphones.
