Korg ELECTRIBE MXSD Music Production Workstation
The Korg ELECTRIBE MXSD Music Production Workstation is the first in a series of ELECTRIBE table-top workstations to feature an SD-Card slot and all new MMT sound engine. There are 16 different oscillators including modeled analog, PCM, formant, wave-shaping sounds, and more. An intuitive 16-step sequencer easily lets DJs and producers create patterns in seconds, and a powerful new arpeggiator automatically responds to tempo (BPM) and pitch, in order to accurately respond to the key of music.
The ELECTRIBE MXSD's SD-Card slot allows you to easily store your custom patterns, and SDHC cards are supported for storing / swapping sounds, and adding to an already extensive sound library. In addition to all this, Korg features its Valve Force Circuitry where the signal may be routed to a pair of 12AX7 tubes, for added warmth and enhanced sound. The ELECTRIBE MXSD continues Korg's tradition of professional and intuitive production stations for electronic music production, DJs, live performances and more.

I got the mx as my very first synth/drum machine because I was looking to get into music production and it seemed to be the best at functionalities/price. Let me tell you that this machine is very easy to understand. It made me learn a lot about how music is made and i still use it as a tool for professional music making. If you want to start making music wihtout learning any instrument, this is the piece of hardware to get. I give it a 4/5 stars because i think that Korg should have added a couple of samples slots but it's still very nice whitout it. Korg did a very nice job on this.
