Currently my High School is working to enhance our knowledge of video equipment and this Mac Mini Desktop Computer has been a fantastic addition to our small, but growing video environment. We just started working on producing videos about the school, and this Desktop, coupled with our cameras, has allowed us to enhance our knowledge and grow our video library.

Comments about Apple Mac mini Desktop Computer (Aluminum Unibody):
I bought the mac mini as a capture computer for old home movies and pictures. I didn't need the full blown mac pro and the mac mini fits my needs perfect. It is fast for what I am doing. It has a small footprint so no need for a large space for a tower. It was easy to set up and I haven't had any issues with it so far. If you are looking for a computer to do video, photo, or music work on and you don't have a huge budget the mac mini is the way to go.

Comments about Apple Mac mini Desktop Computer (Aluminum Unibody):
I decided to try an Apple computer after a good friend who works in the computer industry capitulated and got one after years of being fervently anti-Apple.I had my reservations, but for years people have told me that if music and photos are the main uses of my system,I'd be better off ditching Windows and switch to an Apple system as most of my music library was already in I-tunes.Long story short, I like most everything about it better than my wife's new large, powerful(core 7),windows 7 HP desktop she got a year ago because her sewing machine needed to interface with Windows. It is nice and small and integrates quite nicely with my existing peripherals,I.E., my T.V.and STEREO system. the optical audio input and output is a nice feature.Combined with the HDMI AND 4 USB ports and Firewire 800,there is not much you can't hook up to this baby in some kind of configuration that is bound to please. Finally, stand alone computer components that work out of the box! This is my third computer and my favorite so far.not much not to like!
