Pearstone LCD Screen Protector for Nikon D700
The Pearstone LCD Screen Protector is a dedicated protector for the Nikon D700 Digital SLR. Made of 1mm thick polycarbonate, it protects your valuable camera's screen from dirt, scratches and oily fingerprints. Plus, it blocks UV rays while allowing 92% visible light transmission so the images you see are not affected. It is easily mounted to your camera's LCD screen with an adhesive backing. Once it is properly aligned it is smoothed down with a clean cloth and you are ready to go.
Note! Environments with excessive heat and/or humidity will shorten the useful life of the screen's adhesive.

I bought this for my Canon 7D just to protect the screen.
The quality of the screen protector is amazing, truly you get what you pay for. The installation was fairly simple and straight forward. After using it for about a month now I am happy I made this purchase.
Some bad things about this product specifically for the Canon 7D is that its not designed for it specifically. Yes, the whole screen is protected but the top part of the screen protect goes a bit over. I dont know if this is B&H fault for sending me the wrong screen protector but I didn't bother to check.

I bought this with my new D3100 thinking D3000's LCD was the same, but I guess I was wrong. The screen does not fit D3100. the adhesive side sticks on the LCD only on SOME parts creating two different colors on the LCD (like water in between the film and the screen). I'm thinking of buying another screen protector soon.
Other than that, i think its pretty good. the protector is solid, clean, easy to put on and actually feels like its protecting the LCD.

This screen protector is just what I was looking for.It gives good protection to my LCD screen without any distortion of the image being displayed.I use my camera a lot, and it is in and out of my camera bag frequently, which is tough on an LCD screen.I have taken over 16000 images so far this year, and I want a clean, clear LCD screen when reviewing my shots.

The main thing I was looking for when I bought this protector was to do just that - protect my LCD screen. When I opened it, I was impressed it was made of thicker polycarbonate, but I was disappointed that the bottom of the protector was rounded for the D90, and that's not what I have. (The product description says it will accomodate the D3000, but it's not exactly true.)It still covers the entire LCD screen, so I slapped it on and went about my business.
That's when I noticed the adhesive on the back leaves an impression on places it adheres to on the screen, and it will drive you crazy when the camera is off. When it's on, you won't notice it.
Overall, this product does what it says - protects. But if you're looking for something that will cling to your screen with no virtual signs of adhesive, this isn't the protector for you.

cuts down on glare a little as it is a light grey color.if you put this on the lcd monitor do not expect to get the lcd plastic cover (which comes with the camera when you purchase it) to fit over it.you get a clean look for the lcd without the lcd cover but will just have to wait and see how long it adheres to the back.not an expensive item and I probably should have bought a few back-ups.

The LCD Screen Protector is a wise investment. I was unaware that this product existed, until I accidentally ran across it on the Nikon accessories page. It is easy to apply - just have to be sure the edges are squared. It does what it says - it protects.

This is a thin stiff plastic window that fits over the LCD, with a thin self-stick rim that secures outside of the LCD. It fits well on my D90 and my P7000 (I bought two). [$] I tried a flip-open shade on the P7000's LCD but it was bulky and did not really help viewing the LCD.
