I was pleased to find that this charger worked great with my Toshiba and was almost half the price as a charge straight from Toshiba.
The power block is kind of big, hopefully they can design them smaller soon.

Fortunately I only needed the AC/DC adapter part of it.As I bought it in NYC and returned to CA to my laptop - so it would not have been convenient to return it. It gave me a three prong cord instead of the two prong cord needed - fortunately my old cord still worked. Also the size of the adapter itself was nearly twice the size of the one I needed replaced for my laptop. So its added a great deal of unnecessary bulk and weight to my laptop bad.

My original power adapter failed. I tried other inexpensive models but the quality was not up to par and it stopped working soon after purchase. This model has worked great. Top notch quality. Worth every penny.

I've had this for about a week now and no problems yet. My previous off-brand power cord only lasted about a year, I'm hoping the Toshiba brand lasts a lot longer. My understanding that the power cords for Toshiba laptops aren't the most reliable and long lasting, I'm hoping they prove me wrong.
