The Alta + 234AB Aluminum Tripod from Vanguard reaches a maximum height of 57.1" (1450mm), folds down to 20.7" (545mm), weighs 3.4 lb (1.55 kg) and can support your camera, lens, or camcorder up to 6.6 lb (3 kg). Its light weight and compact size make it a tripod that is well suited for travel.
The Alta + 234AB features clamp-style leg locks, an anti-shock ring to minimize damage by camera vibration, three leg angles (25, 50 & 80°), rubber feet with retractable spikes so you can set up on almost any terrain and all-weather, large foam grips on the legs for comfortable handling. The Alta + 234AB comes with an SBH-50 ball head and two bubble levels for positioning versatility and accuracy.
With all these features, this tripod is ideal for a wide variety of photographic shooting situations, including macro (by reversing the head and using the built-in low-angle adapter), landscapes, panoramas, portraits, nature, and travel.
