Vanguard PH-242 Heavy Duty Window Mount
The Vanguard PH-242 Window Mount With Ball Head will carry the load when your tripod can't--it easily and securely attaches to window frame, fence, iron pipe, car window, tree branch, two-by-four, tripod leg and more, to provide a solid platform for your camera (up to 6.6 lbs/3 kg). The PH-242 includes a QS-52 quick release shoe with 1/4" camera screw, a 2-way pan head, and a bubble level.

Great item. In the past while filming weddings my backup camera was mounted in the balcony of the church. But not very secure. People walking past it, moving it, bumping it etc...Rats!! Poor video from that angle. NOW with the heavy duty mount I can mount it on the railing or ledge with no problem and it's out of the way capturing that great footage that I need. Excellent price and also use it on indie film shoots as well. Works great. And I use B&H quite often as well.

We used this window mount with a Canon 7D shooting HD video. The project was easy to use and the head has good range of motion. It picked up the vibrations from the car window, as expected. You will not get smooth shots like you would with a regular car mount. But, if you're shooting objects in the distance, the shake is not noticeable. All in all, we have some very nice footage form this mount.
