I use this holder to store clean room 2x2 substrates that are used to make films for testing. Only wish the bottom was closed off to make it more dust resistant. Trays are solid and hold up to daily transporting.
Plenty of room for each slide no chance the surface contact. Can be double stacked to maximize storage per container. Used to buy silicone wafer trays but they cost 6x more and are far larger container and hold fewer 2x2's.

I use the trays to store sample which happen to be 2x2".
It is hard to find a specific product for this application so I am using the slide trays.
I have used these trays for over two years and they are great. Lately it was harder to find them in stock, but when I did find them, I ordered enough for a lifetime.
