Comments about Velbon RUP-L40 Aluminum Monopod:
I have been wanting a monopod for some time now. I just recently visited the incredable B&H store in NY and found this product and it is just perfect for what I want it for. I have never been disapointed with a purchase from B&H. I highly recomend a visit if you are able to. I plan on using this monopod at spotting events while sitting in bleachers. And its compact size makes it easy to carey.

Comments about Velbon RUP-L40 Aluminum Monopod:
I have had one of these for many years, but finally lost it this spring, so I immediately got another. It's light and compact but sturdy (I have used it as a treking pole). The section locks always work fine. All you need is a ball head, and you're good to go.
