This Decksaver Polycarbonate Cover is specifically designed to protect the Technics SL-1200 / SL-1210 from dust and other damaging elements. The covers are made of a polycarbonate material that is molded to compliment and reveal the form and controls of DJ gear, while providing stable protection against the rigors of nightclub DJ booths, home workstations, etc.

Comments about Decksaver Polycarbonate Cover:
I use this on my tTechnics sl 1200 m3d. The m3d has a hingeless dustcover design, meaning that the stock cover just kind of sits on top of the table, but could be knocked out of place, hitting the tonearm or causing other damage. My cat has actually done that. With the Decksaver, it fits nice and tight, over the edge of the deck, and will not slide around. It is airtight, meaning that dust or pet hairs cannot sneak inside. It's lighter than the stock cover as well.
One thing to consider: if you plan on playing records with the Decksaver on, you will need a flatter headshell (the little grabber arm on the Technichs headshell sticks up too high for the needle to make it all the way to the inside of the record, because of that divit in between the two rectangles on the cover). I got a Sumiko HS 10 and it plays fine with the dustcover.
