The Dulce Systems 16TB PRO DQ g2 Hard Drive Array is an 8-bay desktop RAID storage system, designed for use in performance-intensive professional environments. It's certified for use with Final Cut Studio, Premiere and other popular editing suites. It supports ProRes 422, RED R3D & proxy, DV, DVCPRO HD, uncompressed SD/HD and 2K Film formats. PRO DQ g2 technology affords superior workflow and supports up to 17 real-time streams, depending on the video resolution. It even has tuck away handles for increased portability.

The PRO DQ g2 implements the latest PCI-express Extender technology to provide fast, redundant storage with 16TB capacity. Its PCI-express Gen2 Host Bus Extender enables the extension of the computer's PCI-express signals to the PRO DQ g2 enclosure. The all metal enclosure runs cool and is capable of up to 8 lanes of the PCI-express speed, enabling the RAID controller to run at full speed - 40Gb/s. The PRO DQ g2 measures up to 1174 MB/s in RAID 0 mode and 1010+ MB/s in the drive protected RAID 3 and 5 modes.

The 7200 RPM SATA 6Gb high-performance disk drives are hot-swappable and the Hardware RAID Controller supports RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 3, RAID 5, RAID 6 and JBOD. A web-browser accessed RAID-Console provides quick and easy RAID management and it's compatible with PC, Mac and Linux. The PRO DQ g2 is also laptop compatible with purchase of the optional ExpressCard 34.

6Gb SATA Disk Drives
The PRO DQ g2 comes fully populated with 8 hot-swappable high performance 3.5" 7200 RPM SATA disk drives. Running in RAID 0, the PRO DQ g2 will deliver at 900 MB/s. In the RAID 5 or 3 protected mode, the PRO DQ g2 can deliver data rates over 800 MB/s. In RAID 6, it can deliver up to 690 MB/s
