Adobe Photoshop CS5 Crash Course - This DVD doesn't cover everything about Photoshop. It gives you the basics to get you up and running. Photoshop is such a long and involved software program that Matt saves the more advanced aspects of it for another time.
The goal here is to give you an overview and as much information as you need to get a "taste" of what the program can do. When you complete this DVD, you'll know enough to stick your toes in the waters of Photoshop and get some impressive results.

Comments about Kelby Training DVD: Adobe Photoshop CS5 Crash Course with Matt Kloskowski:
A great course that helps making CS5 easier to use. CS5 is a very powerful program, and this is the perfect DVD to get you started. If you spend a lot of many on a software, then you also need to invest some time on tutorials and courses, otherwise you won't use the programs to their full extend. This is not an advance course, but someone just sarting with PS will get more than their money's worth.

Comments about Kelby Training DVD: Adobe Photoshop CS5 Crash Course with Matt Kloskowski:
I was struggling getting started through more advanced tutorials. Having a more basic, easy to follow tutorial helped jump start my learning process and laid a foundation for things I didn't quite understand in the more advanced tutorials I have.
This is not a course that is going to make you an expert in CS5, but it will give you a basic understanding of layers, bridge, Camera Raw, and other tools.
Each block of instruction is a few minutes long allowing for easy absorption into your thought process and easy review later.
