The Dulce Systems 16TB PRO RXd 4K Hard Drive Array is a 16-bay rackmount RAID storage system, designed for use in performance-intensive professional environments. It's certified for use with Final Cut Studio, Premiere and other popular editing suites. It supports ProRes 422, RED R3D & proxy, DV, DVCPRO HD, HDV, uncompressed SD/HD, and 2k/4k Film formats. Pro RXd technology affords superior workflow and supports up to 18+ real-time streams, depending on the video resolution.
The PRO RXd implements the latest PCI-express Extender technology to provide fast, redundant storage with 16TB capacity in a 3u rackmount space. Its Host Bus Extender enables the extension of the computer's PCI-express signals to the PRO RXd enclosure. It runs cool and is capable of up to 8 lanes of the PCI-express speed, enabling the RAID controller to run at full speed. The PRO RXd measures up to 1800+ MB/s in the drive RAID 0 mode and 1500+ MB/s in RAID 5 mode.
The 7200/15000 RPM SATA/SAS 3Gb or 6Gb high-performance disk drives are hot-swappable and the Hardware RAID Controller supports RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 3, RAID 5, RAID 6 and JBOD. A web-browser accessed RAID-Console provides quick and easy RAID management. It's compatible with PC, Mac and Linux.

- The PRO RXd comes fully populated with 16 hot-swappable high performance 3.5" SATA/SAS 3Gb/6Gb 7200/15000 RPM disk drives. Running in RAID 0, the PRO RXd will deliver data rates over 1800 MB/s. In the RAID 5 protected mode, the PRO RXd can deliver data rates over 1500 MB/s. Plus, all of this performance will sustain even as the system fills

- The PRO RXd Host Bus Extender (HBE) implements the latest 20Gb/s PCI-express Extender technology, enabling the extension of the computer's PCI-express signals to the PRO RXd enclosure. The HBE is super fast, power efficient and runs cool
- Multiple Real-Time Streams
- PRO RXd technology translates to superior workflow and many real-time streams means you will enjoy your work more and get the project completed sooner
- RAID Management GUI
- A web-browser accessed RAID Console provides quick and easy RAID management. Should you want to change the configuration or manage the disk drives, you are just a couple of clicks away from the RAID Console
- Metal Locking Connectors
- The connectors used in the PRO RXd are made of metal and lock securely in place to prevent accidental removal
- Unlimited Expansion
- The PRO RXd can be expanded using the PRO EX PCI-e Expander (sold separately). The PRO EX can accommodate up to 7 PRO RX systems. If that's not enough, the PRO EX can be daisy chained to provide a virtually unlimited storage environment
- Shared Storage
- The PRO RXd is share ready using the PRO Share high speed networking product
