Comments about Jammin HR-5 Handheld Digital Audio Recorder (Red):
Does the job I wanted but my only complaint was the fact that the instruction book that came with it is a bit lacking in information and explanations. Buyer beware that before you format the hard disk in this thing, hook up the USB cord and download the software to your computer! This information is hidden in the instruction manual near the END of the book instead of at the very beginning of the book. It is also listed at the very end of the instructions on formatting the Disk, instead of a large warning posted at the beginning of the instructions on formatting the Disk. I found that out AFTER I had formatted the disk and had to contact the company to get it, and that was a hassle. More difficult than I would like to download the recording and get it to a disk. That is my only complaint with this recorder, but unfortunately it is a major problem the company needs to correct. Other than that the recording itself comes out better than I would expect for a recorder of this price. Very pleased with that once I got the hang of downloading the files.
