I just had 50 sheets of 4x5 film destroyed thanks to this bag. It works ok if you use it in darkness, but if you try to change film in the shade or under a room light, expect to have your film fogged. Not recommended.

This is my first experience using a darkroom bag. It was much easier than I had anticipated. The bag contains plenty of room to arrange items and use them easily. Now I can watch TV while loading film into the developing tank.

I purchased this changing bag to use for changing daylight reels of 16mm film in my camera. So far I'm very pleased with it, plenty of room, appears very lightproof, and it was pretty affordable too. Can't really say anything bad about it, it's just a dark bag!

Good sized bag, I was able to load 10+ 4x5 and would definitely be large enough to load 8x10 holders too. I was worried about having a bag big enough I could load my HP-Combi-Plan tank in, and it works great! However, it has a pretty awful "plastic-vinyl" smell that I'm sure will fade, but it's quite the headache initially. Also if you intend to present this as a gift, mine was sort of smushed into the box...

I plan using this product for my Pinhole and Black and White Photography Classes. I fell in love with the process of it all. The darkroom is fun to work in and developing your own pictures is very fulfilling. It is great that you can use this bag and go out anywhere you want to and use it anywhere.

I found this on line, very reasonable pice and a well made changing bag.

I originally bought a changing bag and found it to be way too small for my needs. exchanged it for this one and it works great! It is a little awkward at first trying to figure out what is what without looking but appreciate being able to change film outside a darkroom. It is completely light tight but smells awkwardly of fish food.

The key to a good changing bag is pretty simple - it's got to be dark inside. This one is....

Good stuff: The double zipper and elastic armbands keep the light out! And the bag is roomy. When I'm inside changing film from camera to little developer basket (whatever it's called...) there's a lot of stuff when you figure in my 2 arms and a bunch of fingers. And yet it's small enough to stuff into a suitcase (won't fit into my fiddle case however - I guess there are limits).

Not so good stuff: Hmm.... I think it would be pretty in various colors other than black. Beyond that it's pretty much the cat's pjs....

I kind of regret not getting a larger bag than this but this one is perfectly capable with adequate space to work with. Part of this may be that I use a Paterson Super System 4 Universal Tank which is fairly large to begin with. Material seems to be of high quality and I can't say anything has gone awry as of yet.

I bought this chaging bag for 35mm film developing and for loading 4x5 film in the holder. its a decently fit with five of 4x5 film holder and two film box, or more than three tanks with the 35mm film. the space still enough in there. This product is perfect for its purpose, i had no problem loading film in the horder and reels with the tank.
