The 6TB ExtremeStor-DI Rackmount Video Storage Workstation from Globalstor is a powerful network storage workstation, designed to meet the intense storage and performance demands of HD video post-production. Designed to meet the demanding needs of a 4K Red Digital Cinema workflow, the server can play back full-resolution content in real time.
The ExtremeStor-DI video storage workstation is engineered and certified to work with feature-rich, high-performance graphics capture cards. It also supports professional color grading technologies. The unit is housed in a 5U rackmount form factor, capable of holding up to 24 hard disks. It supports read speeds of up to 1600MB/sec and write speeds of up to 1000MB/sec.

Featuring PCI Express x16 video bus support and optional hardware RAID, the ExtremeStor-DI delivers up to 1600MB/sec of sustained data throughput in RAID 5.

- The ExtremeStor-DI integrates the Windows 7 Professional (64-bit) open platform operating system. A choice of magnetic or solid-state operating system drives in single or redundant configurations provide a rugged and reliable architecture. Combine that with hot swappable enterprise class disk drives, power supplies, and blowers and the result is a well-equipped solution guaranteed to safeguard against downtime and critical data loss.

- The ExtremeStor-DI can hold up to 6TB of RAW storage and has the ability to scale as you grow for applications requiring even greater storage capacity by implementing your choice of either SCSI, Fibre Channel, InfiniBand or SAS host bus adapters for external add-on RAID arrays. ExtremeStor-DI workstations feature ten card slots for unprecedented scalability.
