Pearstone Duo Battery Charger for Canon LP-E6
This Pearstone Duo Battery Charger for Canon LP-E6 conveniently charges two batteries simultaneously, drawing power from either an AC wall source (an AC cord with two-prong plug is included) or a 12/24V DC power source (a DC car charger is also included). Additionally, the Duo Charger features a USB power output to charge & power MP3 players, phones, digital cameras, and other devices with a USB power input.
With two easily interchangeable plates, the intelligent charger can also be used for other battery models that are not listed above – via the separate purchase of an additional battery plate that's compatible with the intended battery model.
The intelligent charger features an LCD display that graphically shows charge status for both batteries. This allows you to test batteries instantaneously, so you can easily decide which Li-ion cells to bring with you for the day. With protection against overcharging, overheating, and short circuit, the Duo Charger safely, conveniently, and quickly recharges up to two compatible Li-ion batteries and one USB-powered device.

I bought this charger to keep us up and running on a weekend long shoot in the woods and it definitely did that. Being able to see the charge on a battery at a glance without plugging it in is an essential feature and obviously having two batteries charging at once was a life-saver. My only complain is a minor one. The plates for the battery do tend to slip out of place easily so you need to make sure the plate is firmly in place every time you attach a battery. The USB port was a great added bonus for iPhone charging. A fantastic product.

Comes with a car charger ac adapter. I used that for sure on the shoot. That was very handy.
My big complaint is that the adapters ( on the product that accept the type of battery that you decide to use with the device--in my case LPE6) fall off almost any time you take the battery out. Very annoying which is the only reason that I deducted 2 stars. Otherwise it is good. It is just one of those things that gets to you in the middle of a production.
I like the adaptability of the plates, but I am potentially going to glue then on or something.

Nice to have the actual capacity showing. Some have said the adapter plate comes off when retrieving the battery. I solved this by putting a Dymo label on the side of the charger where the plate attaches to the body. I have it say "7D". That way it keeps the plated from sliding off and identifies the plate attached...!

I shoot mainly wedding with 7D and 60D, and I use battery grip for 60D. that's the main reason I got this charger.
It's good to charge two batteries at once, but there are rooms for improvement with this charger.
the plate (adopter) comes off easily. So when I take out your batteries, be careful not to pull out too hard.
Also, I simply need to know how much the batteries are charged, but seems to fail showing simply % of charge, instead of it shows too much stuff.
There should be a button navigate instead of automated screen change.

I'm a pro videographer who's now forced to shoot with the 5D. I'm not very used to shooting with prosumer gear (but I'm learning) This battery charger works fine but I'm scared it's going to break any second. The E6 plates pop off way to easily and it's just not very sturdy. But really what should I expect for [$]. I just wish that IDX or Anton Bauer would start making batteries and chargers for the pro market. Anyways it does charge two LP-E6 batteries at the same time and that's a good thing.

Permits charging of two batteries at one time, but monitors each battery individually. Has an optional usb connection so you can charge your mp3 player or phone at the same time. It also came with a handy DC car connection. I like that the LCD display shows charging progress. It can be used to test remaining battery charge level without having to be plugged in.
