The Dulce Systems 16TB Pro Xa 4Gb Fibre Channel Expansion RAID Storage System is a professional storage expansion system, designed for use with Pro FC, Pro FCa or iSCSIa storage systems. It's certified for use with Final Cut Studio, Premiere and other popular video editors. It supports ProRes, DV, DVCPRO, HD, HDV, uncompressed SD/HD and 2k film formats. Pro Xa technology affords superior workflow and supports up to 14 real-time streams, depending on the video resolution. The Dual Expansion controllers can link with up to three other Pro Xa systems, increasing the total number of drives to 64. The Pro Xa expansion systems will not add any overhead to your existing Pro FC, FCa or iSCSIa RAID system. You will continue to see performance at the same high standard you've come to expect from your current RAID system.
- Daisy Chain Expansion
- When additional storage is required the Pro Xa increases the capacity of the Pro FCa, FC or iSCSIa system through their built-in expanders. The Pro Xa can be daisy chained up to 3x from the RAID head, creating a total of 64 drives of very high speed online access
- Maximum Fibre Performance
- The Pro Xa won't slow down your system. The impressive high-end performance ensures that your project will continue to make forward progress even as the disk array is filling up
