I am used camera bags with a lot of side pockets and zippers and secret compartments, so much that you don't know what to do with them and don't end up being very useful. So this bag definitely breaks that expectation. It has a total of 2. Believe it or not, that is just right. It is so versitile that you can pack it which ever the way you want to suit the situation. I was able to fit my Nikon full body dslr, speed flash 3 lenses (wide angle, 70-300mm zoom, and 50mm prime) and my ipad2. When I looked at first, I didn't think it could fit all that. Even with all that inside it, it remains with a lower profile than most bags I've tried and hangs comfortably as i am carrying it. The strap is nice and wide and doesn't slip. Looks great and doesn't get in the way. It is my perfect travel companion and never have to worry about whether I should take my camera with me on trips. This was always a concern for me because when I am going on business trips or to see family, I always would like to have my camera and a couple of lenses with me just in case I encounter good photo ops. I can carry everything I need (passport iPad phone wallet etc) and still have my camera with me when roaming the streets. This is the last bag I will buy. The only way I will buy another bag is if it is a Domke and I need more space or if this gets damaged or worn out (though that looks like it will take a very long time) The bag is very rugged and will take a beating. Very well manufactured and built tough. The best part, I find it very stylish for a camera bag. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is it comes with one compartment divider so I had to use some from my other camera bag. It would have been 5 stars if dome included more. So I had to by a new insert for the bag or get from other camera bags.

I am currently using this bag as an every day general use bag, it is easy to add padded sections for extra kit when necessary. Though if you are considering carrying more than one camera body and a couple of pro lenses I would suggest one of the larger sizes.

Its design is more courier bag than "man-bag" which suits my fragile ego perfectly. It is discreet also avoiding potential camera snatchers!

My only quibble is that the flap isn't exactly secure, it simply hangs over the top and is secured shut with velcro. Whilst the design means that it is relatively easy to keep the rain out I am not so sure about wandering hands in crowded environments!

All in all a great looking bag that will clearly last for years and one that can easily jump from being a simple satchel-type day-sac to a light and unobtrusive camera bag.

oh also, my 13" Macbook pro fits fairly snugly lengthways which is always handy.

I'm adding the Domke DOF902K F-902 RuggedWear Super Pouch (Brown), so that I can more easily carry a 5d with flash and accessories. I carry extra batteries, 4 filters, zacuto viewfinder on the strap and it works perfectly. Domke is high quality and nice that you don't look photo nerdy when you tromp through urban landscapes. This bag helps me with run-and-gun style film-making where blending in to the environment helps. The only problem I have is it's so casual sometimes you forget your bag in random locations.

I used this bag while photographing a wedding this past weekend and it was very practical. It held 3 lenses and a flash and they were very easy to access. The bag also doesn't necessarily look like a camera bag so it's stylish at the same time.

it's a great bag for carrying around my GF1 and a couple of lenses. i like it because it gives me quick access for changing lenses and the rubber that is sewn into the strap keeps the bag in place while i'm walking or trying to change a lens "on the fly". the only thing i would improve would be to build a couple more compartments to hold a couple of more lenses and maybe add an accessory pouch to hold memory, small grey cards, etc.
