We ordered this to store our limited library of mini-dv tapes. It is perfect for what we need. Plenty of space, stylish and portable. Good quality materials and craftsmanship. Like the case surround and like that the sorting tray can be used with or without the case. Very convenient.

I was worried that the tapes might fall out or shift if the case was held upside down. However, the outer covering is tight enough (without being too tight!) to keep the tapes held firmly in place.

I was looking for a reasonably priced storage solution for my ever expanding collection of mini dv tapes, and the MDVP-50 was the answer. As someone else said in their review, it's the perfect size to slip under your bed. The cover will stand up to much abuse, and it's very affordable. I'm going to be ordering a few more of these in the near future.

I've been looking for a way to easily store and take with me (if necessary) my collection of mini-DV tapes of special events. This is slim enough to put underneath the bed, has a nice ballistic covering, and overall, is a great price. I believe there is a version which carries less tapes, but this is by far a better value.
