The pok from X-Tempo Zone is a wireless foot controller that allows for remote control of DAW software via 8 foot switches. Because it uses a powerful wireless USB system, the pok can be used at a distance of up to 100 feet from your computer system. Rugged in construction and incredibly easy to setup and use, the controller can work in both the recording studio and in live situations.
The unit is not a MIDI controller. It works with the computer's command (shortcut) key bindings, such as record, stop, or any other shortcuts programmed into the audio software that would normally be triggered via the computer keyboard. Compatible with most Mac and Windows based DAW software, it frees the hands to concentrate on playing rather than button pushing, and lets the feet do the controlling.
