I like the case a lot and have only 2 complaints.
1. It is expensive. I like it, I use it all the time, but it's expensive.
2. You have to remove the flash for it to fit in the case, I would have liked the case to be slightly larger to accomodate the flash.

Must be used with body case. Does provide good protection .But when used with body case, camera moves around too much. Its OK But. The thing that I do not like about this is the fact that you can not keep attach any of the Nex camera flashes and close case, even with the smaller one the two flashes available. Some people may not mind, but for me its a real pain to carry a flash separately with this case. Its not like having a big bag to carry your equipment I think camera case and body case were poorly designed

It fits the camera snug - so snug that you cannot have the flash attached. Wish it was a little bit bigger. Still happy I bought it.

Must be used with body case. Does provide good protection .But when used with body case, camera moves around too much. Its OK But. Great fit with the lens. I purchased it for protection and didn't want the bulk of a large padded bag. Easy to put on and take off. Wished it came as a package with the body case as you can't use this unless you have that piece. Wish it would have fit with the flash so I didn't have to keep taking the flash on/off each time, but overall great case. The construction is very durable and looks great.

very misleading marketing shameful hard to understand why a reputable seller would do this in order to work one has to buy two two sparate items
Sony sells the case in two parts each useless without the other they do not disclose it
i recieved the case my salesperson suggested only to find out i need to order another second expensive part for the case to work as advertise ?

It looks like an okay case, but beware, Sony wants you to buy another expensive piece to make this case a case. That's right. If you don't read the fine print, there are two separate parts to the case. Once you've purchased both, it's a pricey [$]case. It's not worth it. I almost returned the camera too.
