The Gator Cases GE-SHLF-UNIV-1U Shelf with Universal Hole Pattern (Black) is a 1U space shelf designed to fit a Gator 19" equipment rack. It is used to accommodate components with less than normal rack widths. The shelf is made from cold rolled 16 gauge steel with a black powder coated finish. It has a 25 lbs weight capacity.

This shelf is a nicely built little unit that should last a lifetime. My only criticism is that I wish the hole patterns extended farther back on it. I had some difficulty finding ways to secure some electrical wires in the mobile hard drive station I was building. It's a small gripe that I'm not sure any of the other shelves can fulfill either.
