I had a small lighting kit and upgraded to a few Arri Fresnel/Open face lights and carried them in smaller bags for a couple of shoots. Tip, NOT the way to carry your lights around.

ENTER: This case. Amazing, well built, nice compartments to store the lights/stands/accessories. Plenty of room and built like a tank.

It is pretty large so measure the dimensions to ensure it'll fit in your vehicle with all your other gear. I haven't had to fly with this yet but it's much more convenient to bring your lights from place to place without having to worry about them getting banged up during transport!

I bought lights, 3 Briteks 650W Tungstens with stands and 2 softboxes/chimeras off a random website beginning of the year to have some hot lights in my arsenal and as all discount brands do they make a barebones product and skip out on everything else.

The case was a cheap, low thread duffel bag that was beginning to rip a few months into it. For a shoot I need to fly to the location and as important as it was to protect my gear was the ability to arrive on set able to do the job without any hiccups. I went for this case cause it one of the few that can hold all my stuff and give me a little room to grow, it's tough, sturdy, the simple things, the hinge, lock etc. are built to last and the wheels are smooth and fully loaded easy to maneuver.

If you got lights without a case and you need to fly get this case. If your flying you just need this.

This product is well designed and well made. Not sure it warrants the price. In fact it is far cheaper to buy this thing with lights in it. But if you need to ship lights or equipment and you need durable this is the way to go. Still this site had it the cheapest. [...]

Holds a 4 hot light kit I put together. All photography and lighting cases are expensive, but this one is excellent.

I needed a case that my lowell light stands and my Arri lights would fit in. I was looking for something strong BUT lightweight. I travel a lot by air and I wanted a lightweight case because once I got it packed I didn't want the weight of the case to push my baggage into excess weight territory with the airlines. This one does meet most of my needs but the case is very heavy- about 35 lbs empty. I really think Arri is capable of manufacturing the same case with lighter material AND strength.

Replaced an older beat up case with this one. Very sturdy, wheels are useful.

Pretty large, don't expect a small girl to wheel it around. And try not to break the wheels... last one broke and was difficult to get anyone to repair it.
